It was a blast having my mother & niece out West for 10 days.  :)   One of the highlights was our day trip down to Waterton, AB.  For those of you on Facebook, you can find the picture album here.  For those who aren’t, I posted a few pics from the trip below.

You can’t go to Waterton without at least stopping by the Cardston Alberta LDS (Mormon) Temple!  Impressive bit of stonework, eh?  Very nice.

My two special ladies on a bluff overlooking Waterton, from the Prince of Wales Hotel.

The deer are VERY friendly in Waterton.  Just makes sure you don’t feed them, as they’re becoming more hostile to humans (demanding food).  Nice to know, though, that this doe used the crosswalk!!!

Happy Canada Day!

From my family to yours, may you have a happy and safe Canada Day!!

A few images from the car show in Red Deer, this past weekend.

(Pictured below) Jason’s Camaro, “Warlock“, polished and ready for public viewing.  :)
The new air intake was a hit, as was the signed engineering print by the employees on the line at GM’s Oshawa/Whitby plant who built this awesome car (43 of them!!! That’s a lot of signatures!!!).  The framed letter on the left-hand side is from Mike Judge, the head of GM’s Metal Body Shop in Oshawa who went out of his way to audit my car while it was being built.  An amazing guy with a heart of gold.  Thanks, Mike!

(Pictured below) The new Camaro looks fantastic, but BLACK Camaros are a fan favourite!  Black cars are hard to keep clean, but as you can see in the picture below… they’re popular if you take the time to touch them up!

(Pictured below) That’s a LOT of Camaros parked outside the Boston Pizza in Rocky Mountain House!!  :)

Wait a tick!!! Who’s black SS is that at 1:03????

WOOOOO! Mine, of course! “Warlock” rules!

I installed a new cold air intake from CAI, which adds around 12 horsepower to “Warlock”.  :)   Friday morning I’m meeting with a welding instructor (Hi, Chris!!) who will be ripping out the stock exhaust system (*choke*gasp*), and installing a brand new custom exhaust design.  WOOO!  By “custom” I mean he will be fabricating the pipes and mufflers himself.  (!!!!!!)  Needless to say, to have this one-of-a-kind exhaust system has me completely freaking out!  Awesome!

General Motors has invited me to bring my Camaro back to the Oshawa/Whitby plant (where he was made) in Ontario in the middle of August, where he will be put on display for 3 days and let the folks at GM who actually built him take a look and poke around at the modifications.  :)   Again, I’m completely freaking out!  The Design & Engineering Team who succeeded in bringing back the Camaro are going to hold a photo-op and sign his engine.  !!!!!!!!  NICE!  More details as they arrive…
